We provide library construction and screening services of gDNA, cDNA and BAC libraries. Libraries can be provided by clients or constructed at Syngene based on client requirements / specification. Screening is carried out by radioactive hybridization or functional activity. Steps involved in screening include:

  - Primary screening
  - Secondary screening
  - Tertiary screening

Analysis of putative clones obtained from screening involves:

  - Purification of single colony or plaque

  - Further analysis of the clone by Primer walking and Contig     assembly of sequences

  - Identification of putative ORFs
