Organic Electronic Materials

Syngene’s Organic Electronic Materials team specializes in the research and development of a wide variety of organic electronic materials that are applicable in lighting, display, and solar cell products. Leveraging our vast experience, we deliver innovative solutions in materials such as organic light-emitting diodes (OLED), photovoltaics (OPV), organic thin-film transistors (OTFT), and printed electronics (PE) materials.

Syngene has forged collaborative partnerships with several prominent display and solid-state lighting (SSL) companies across Asia and Europe to deliver OLED materials that include dopants, emitters, transport materials, and intermediates.


Capabilities

Our scientists synthesize molecules and compounds using efficient multistep synthesis routes, scaling as needed, from a few grams to kilograms. Using transition metal-catalyzed cross-coupling reactions such as Suzuki, Buchwald, and Negishi, we synthesize chemical compounds (hetero-aromatics and polycyclic aromatics), organic compounds (amines), and molecules (ligands and transition metal complexes).

Our state-of-the-art purification methodologies enable us to deliver materials at a 99.8% ultra-purity level while removing halogen and heavy metal impurities at a parts-per-million (ppm) level. With optimized analytical technologies, we ensure stringent quality assurance and control over target material purity and performance, with well-defined protocols for the safe handling of light and air-sensitive materials.
