The managing director & chief executive Officer (MD & CEO) is in overall operational control and is responsible for the day-to-day working of the company. He lays down policy guidelines and ensures implementation of the decisions of the board of directors and its various committees and functions under the superintendence, direction and control of the board. He is supported by the executive committee (EC).
