As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, Syngene International Limited (“Syngene”) or “we” or “our”) invites applications from Junior Faculty (Assistant Professors or equivalent) engaged in Life Sciences Research at Indian research institutes and universities for Syngene Early Career Research Awards.
In early January 2026, Syngene CSR committee plans to award 3-4 such awards. These awards are intended to help promising junior faculty establish research independence and work on high risk-high reward projects to foster innovative solutions for health care.

This call is open to Junior Researchers working at the intersection of biology, chemistry, technology, and computation to address key challenges in modern drug discovery.
Should the awardee transfer to another institution within India, the remaining funds may be transferred to the new host university.

Stage 2: Interview Round
Shortlisted candidates (up to 10) will be invited for a 30-minute video interview that will include a 20-minute presentation from each candidate followed by questions. Based on this interview, up to 4 candidates will be selected at Syngene’s sole discretion to receive the Syngene Early Career Research Award. Candidates will be informed of the selection by Feb 01, 2026.
