Syngene’s science education initiatives aim to make science accessible, engaging, and experiential for students studying in government schools.

Science on Wheels

Through Mobile Science Labs and Lab-on-a-Bike, Science on Wheels delivers hands-on science learning experiences to government school students in Bengaluru Urban (Anekal), Yadgir (Shorapur), Mangaluru, and suburban Hyderabad (Medchal-Malkajgiri). During FY26, the program reached more than 7,000 students across 74 schools and delivered over 2.74 lakh student-hours of science learning.

Learning Outcomes 

Assessment of 4,634 students across 65 schools showed: 

  • 82.6% demonstrated a positive increase in subject knowledge 
  • Students improved from pre-test scores of 15%–26% to post-test results of 70%–81% 
  • Learning outcomes were measured through structured baseline and endline assessments 

Synquizitive

The fourth edition of Synquizitive engaged approximately 10,000 students from 200 government schools across Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Mangaluru. More than 400 Syngene employees volunteered to support qualifier rounds and the multi-stage competition format. Winning schools received support for educational infrastructure.

Anekal Education Summit

Syngene convened an education summit with more than 200 participants from over 60 organizations to advance the shared vision of transforming Anekal into a model education block by 2030.

Rural Education Infrastructure

The Company is also supporting the development of a new two-story facility at Government High School, Kodamballi, Channapatna, with 10 classrooms and dedicated sanitation facilities, benefiting approximately 250 students annually.
