Vision

Syngene’s CSR initiatives are designed to promote long-term sustainability for business, society, and the environment. These initiatives are centered around four key pillars: Healthcare, Environmental Sustainability, Research and Scholarships, and Science Education. These efforts align with Syngene’s core values, operations, and growth objectives and contribute to social and economic equity in the communities where the Company operates and beyond, while creating opportunities for employees to engage with communities through volunteering.

Areas of intervention and partners

Syngene’s CSR initiatives are reviewed and refreshed regularly and implemented based on the needs of the local communities and the unique knowledge and capabilities at Syngene. Syngene’s CSR initiatives focus on improving access to healthcare, advancing science education, supporting scientific research and scholarships, promoting environmental sustainability, strengthening women’s safety, and fostering employee volunteering. These initiatives are implemented through Biocon Foundation, Biocon Academy, and other eligible implementing agencies, or may be undertaken directly by Syngene. All CSR programs are carried out in accordance with the Company’s CSR Policy and applicable statutory requirements.
