In collaboration with the Bangalore city police, this program funded counselling and rehabilitation for women and children who need police support. The program offers medical assistance, legal aid, vocational training, educational support and short-stay and rehabilitation.
During the lockdown caused by COVID-19, workshops were organized to sensitize police personnel and provided training on the management of offences against women and children. In addition to this, community awareness sessions were scheduled focusing on women’s rights and child safety. Of the 3013 cases registered, 2,335 cases were settled amicably.
