Pain Pharmacology

Pain Pharmacology

Pain plays a major role in health problems across the world, and immense progress has been made in understanding basic pathophysiology. Pain disorders can manifest in many different forms, including neuropathic pain, inflammatory pain, post-operative, and cancer pain, and can be challenging to manage and treat.

Research using animal models is a prerequisite to understanding the fundamentals of pain mechanisms and modulation by the therapeutic agent, discovering new targets, and developing novel analgesics for the treatment of various types of pain. We at Syngene possess an extensive catalog of clinically relevant preclinical animal models comprising neuropathic, inflammatory, post-ischaemic, and post-operative pain models.

Category:

  1. Complex regional pain syndrome -1 (CRPS-1)
  2. Cystitis models
  3. Inflammatory pain
  4. Neuropathic pain
  5. Nociceptive pain
  6. Post-operative pain
