Pain Pharmacology

Pain Pharmacology

Pain plays a major role in health problems across the world with immense progress in understanding the basic pathophysiology. Pain disorders can manifest in many different forms, including neuropathic pain, inflammatory pain, post-operative, and cancer pain, and can be challenging to manage and treat.

Research using animal models is a prerequisite to understand the fundamentals about pain mechanisms and modulation by the therapeutic agent, discover new targets and to develop novel analgesics for the treatment of various types of pain. We at Syngene, possess an extensive catalogue of clinically relevant pre-clinical animal models comprising neuropathic, inflammatory, post ischaemic, and post-operative pain models.

Category:

  1. Complex regional pain syndrome -1 (CRPS-1)
  2. Cystitis Models
  3. Inflammatory pain
  4. Neuropathic pain
  5. Nociceptive pain
  6. Post-operative pain
