Syngene’s Peptide Synthesis team specializes in synthesizing various types of peptides scaling from a few milligrams up to a gram. The team has vast experience in delivering high-quality peptides on time to help advance the discovery and design of novel drugs. We also have state-of-the-art analytical instruments for peptide purification and characterization.
Capabilities
We provide high-throughput synthesis of peptide libraries allowing clients to quickly screen targets. The team can generate up to 50-mer linear peptides and develop cysteine-rich disulphide-bridged peptides, leading to improved peptide stability. Our experience also includes the design and synthesis of peptide derivatives and the generation of conformationally constrained peptides that have enhanced biophysical properties.
We employ labeling methods such as attaching polyethylene glycol (PEG) chains or biotin to protein molecules. Based on the needs of the project, we also adopt fluorescent labeling methods such as fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC) and carboxyfluorescein (FAM), among others. The infrastructure at our state-of-the-art labs includes an automated synthesizer capable of simultaneously handling the solid-phase synthesis of up to 48 peptides.
